Hello Centennial Campus Middle students and families!
This is my second year teaching at Centennial and my fifth year teaching Language Arts. I am so excited to begin another year teaching 6th grade Language Arts!
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011 with a degree in Middle Grades Education. I previously taught Language Arts for three years at Graham Middle School in Alamance county, and developed a love and appreciation for the content and the students. I believe that in order for teachers to successfully teach their content, they need to build trusting, nurturing relationships with their students. I always do my best to demonstrate a caring, positive attitude, and serve as a mentor and role model to all of my students. I look forward to getting to know the 6th graders, and cannot wait to continue to grow and learn in this innovative teaching environment.
I love travelling, eating at new restaurants, the beach, Taylor Swift, and Harry Potter! I also love spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Zeus! I cannot wait to get to know my new 6th graders and their families!
