What an amazing experience working with these kids and Mr. Zirkle to complete an amazing STEM/ELA project! I am so proud of everyone!
Spin the wheel for a new topic, and then free-write to demonstrate the assigned tone!
Students chose three vocabulary words from quarter two to create digital posters using a picture, examples, and a video. The digital posters created a word wall on class padlets.

Students showcased their vast amounts of knowledge on ecosystems (thanks Ms. Stewart!) to write argumentative letters that argued the issues happening in the Chesapeake Bay. Students used the RAFT writing strategy, where they got to choose their role and their audience. Please take some time to read through the letters and see how hard we all have been working!
